7.0/10

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room I got, despite being on the basic side and missing some advertised amenities like a couch, was a decent deal for the price. The service was excellent, with the staff going the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. The location was convenient for my plans, being close to the expo and other downtown attractions. However, the dining options left much to be desired, and the facilities were just okay.

Rooms
7.0
The room I booked through Priceline was a bit outdated and lacked the expected couch, but overall it was clean and comfortable for the price paid.
Service
9.0
The service provided by the staff was top-notch. They were attentive and even asked about our breakfast experience, showing a genuine interest in our stay.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was ideal for exploring downtown Cincinnati, especially for attending events at the expo and sports games. The convenience of self-parking next door added to the positive experience.
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, the dining experience was underwhelming, both in quality and value. The options were limited and a bit overpriced for what was offered.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel's facilities were average, nothing exceptional to highlight but they served their purpose.

My stay at the hotel was great! The location is excellent, offering easy access to all of downtown and shopping/restaurants. The rooms had everything I needed, although maneuvering around the bed was a bit tight. The service was a bit limited with a single 8-hour shift for assistance, but the staff tried their best. The dining experience was just average, with breakfast lacking variety. Overall, a good option for the price.

The hotel is perfectly located in downtown Cincinnati, close to the Duke Convention Center and other attractions. The rooms were mostly good, although a bit noisy, with a minor maintenance issue. The service provided by Walter Sweeney was exceptional, ensuring a memorable stay overall with a few hiccups. Dining options varied from disappointing to delightful, while the facilities were satisfactory for the most part.

Rooms
7.0
The room we had was quite loud, almost too loud to sleep, but it was one of their nicer rooms.
Service
8.0
Walter Sweeney was very friendly and provided excellent service, although there were minor issues during the stay.
Location

The location was excellent for downtown Cincinnati and the Duke Convention Center, but it was a bit noisy.

6.2/10

The hotel's location was perfect for exploring downtown Cincinnati, with walking distance to various attractions, although the hotel itself had some drawbacks. The service, despite being professional, was overpriced. The dining options were subpar, not justifying the continental label, and the rooftop dining was underwhelming. The rooms overlooked a lively public plaza, with a build-up of dirt that my wife had to clean for comfort. The hotel's best feature was its proximity to downtown entertainment facilities.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms overlooked a public plaza where music played late and had some cleanliness issues, but the air conditioning unit worked efficiently, despite being noisy.
Service
6.0
The service had some negative aspects, like holes in the sheets, but the staff remained professional even when busy.
Location
9.0
The hotel's best feature was its location with walking distance to downtown Cincinnati attractions and facilities, including the ballpark, restaurants, pubs, and entertainment venues.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was below expectations and did not meet the quality expected, especially regarding the rooftop dining.

6.6/10

The hotel is perfectly located right next to the convention center and a short walk to Fountain Square. The employees were nice, making the location great for after-work activities. However, the check-in experience was marred by noise from a nearby volleyball tournament. The overall experience was convenient and vibrant.

Rooms
7.0
The room lacked a fridge and seating options, but was clean and the desk chair was fine. There was a musty smell, and some areas needed updating, like the carpet stains in room 1714.
Service
5.0
The service was lacking as I had to manage the area after a game and even had to retrieve wine glasses for our modest group. Additionally, I wasn't offered the option to put a credit card on file, resulting in an extra trip to the front desk for movie and room service charges.
Location
8.0
The location is perfect for exploring downtown spots like the Great American Ballpark and Brown Stadium on foot. While it is a central spot to start after-work fun, the noise level from the volleyball tournament disrupted the check-in experience.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was a positive start to our Father's Day celebration, offering regional dishes and a good recommendation despite some issues with housekeeping and restaurant staff.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel facilities were adequate, but there were some areas that needed attention and updating to enhance the overall guest experience.
